What is nutrition?
As a Personal Trainer in Mississauga Ontario, I can’t stress enough that diet is an important aspect of health which should be on the forefront of your thoughts every single day. Making sure that you have the proper vitamins, minerals and other dietary needs every day is essential for you well-being. Eating the right foods and can help you function and even feel better on a day-to-day basis. The study of nutrition is solely devoted to understanding the right balance of nutrients, protein, calories, dietary fibres and other things which our bodies get from the foods we consume at each stage of our lives.
Why is nutrition important?
Nutrition begins before you are even born. It starts with assisting pregnant women to ensure that their newborns emerge from the tummy with a healthy start. Following birth, proper nutrition should still remain a top priority for proper maintenance of growth towards adulthood. Afterwards, nutrition helps you eat right for long term health that helps prevent early onset of terminal ailments and conditions and stay fit. Even as you enter into our golden years, the nutritional needs of you body continues to change. From infants to your senior years, nutrition is vital to your health.
